San Joaquin Pygmy Goat Association

Our Foundation

The San Joaquin Pygmy Goat Association was founded on November 13, 2019 to promote the pygmy goat breed and to educate the public and members of the community about the care and treatment of pygmy goats in the San Joaquin Valley and surrounding areas. We strive to educate, encourage and build empathy so that we may continue to support our county’s youth as well as adults.

The members of the San Joaquin Pygmy Goat Association have grown up taught the values we strive to teach our younger generations. We have received so much from our community, we figured this was the perfect way to give back what we have learned and to continue to support our county’s youth and adults.

Caring for animals teaches children responsibility and empathy as well as they experience the benefits of hard work and dedication . Our club is excited to work concurrently with other clubs in our community to involve more youngsters and to get our youth involved across our valley.
